Anne Louise Conway's Fundraising Page
I am honored to be part of the Legacy Council for the Darrell K Royal Research Fund. I have a personal connection to both The University of Texas and Alzheimer’s disease, which makes this an incredible opportunity and organization to be a part of.
My grandfather, Timothy Michael Conway Jr., was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s when he was 59 years old and quickly lost his battle at the young age of 63. I was only a year old when he passed away, and unfortunately never had the opportunity to know him. This realty hits very close to home, thinking that I am of the age my father was when he lost his dad. In honor of my late grandfather, and the millions affected by Alzheimer’s, I look forward to raising awareness and supporting the fight against this disease, and will dedicate my fundraising efforts in his memory.
